General
Based on German Standard DiBt PG FBB Section 5.2, our sealing products contain a super absorber polymer powder (SAP) that forms a polymer gel on contact with liquids. The polymer gel is an excellent barrier against water and gases.
Sealing strips type SQ* contain a swelling non-woven based on a super absorber polymer powder which is bound directly to the nonwoven. The gel that forms after contact with liquids remains stored in the strip.
The longitudinal edges (or all edges - depending on the application) are sewn using a 3-thread safety stitch.
